The range of projects was impressive, ranging from support for refugees, the intellectually disabled, environmental initiatives and extensive volunteering in the community.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A group project from Telopea Park School won the best primary school prize and a group from Taren Point Public School won best primary school presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Richard Hu from North Sydney Boys High was awarded the first prize at secondary school level with two groups from Northolm Grammar School winning the prize for the best secondary school presentation. Alexis Caro from St Peters Lutheran College in Brisbane was awarded joint second prize along with Rashee Malde from the Queensland Academy of Maths, Science and Technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alfred Deakin High School was singled out for a special mention as was the Alliance Fran\u00e7aise de Newcastle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Guidelines for the 2026 Prix du Civisme will be circulated in March 2026.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Students studying French in primary and secondary schools were recognised for their civic actions this week, on the eve of Armistice Day.
