So France – So Good : Join the celebration of Taste and Talent

Dear readers of Le Courrier Australien, dear French nationals, Francophiles, and lovers of the French culture,

Our French culinary festival returns this year from 17 June to 2 July 2025 under a new name: So France – So Good — a celebration of Taste and Talent.
Throughout these two weeks, French gastronomy will once again take centre stage across Australia. The Embassy of France in Canberra, together with its Consulates General and Honorary Consulates, is delighted to invite you to join the festivities and come together in this celebration of French culinary
excellence.

Formerly known as Goût de France, this annual event has become a cherished tradition. It honours not only the richness of French cuisine but also the creativity, craftsmanship, and passion that make it so exceptional. This year, we are shining an even brighter light on the artisans, chefs, producers, and food lovers who keep the spirit of French gastronomy alive in Australia and around the world.

Our ambition is clear: to bring together all those who contribute to the excellence and appeal of French culinary culture — and help them reach a broader audience. Whether you’re a chef, restaurant owner, importer, distributor, or simply someone who loves good food, So France – So Good is your event. It’s a festive and unifying moment to connect, share, and celebrate that special je ne sais quoi that makes French cuisine so irresistible.

This year’s edition will feature a launch event in Melbourne and a closing celebration in Canberra, complemented by a vibrant program of events, recipes, videos, and contributions from our campaign ambassadors. The dedicated website — www.sofrance-sogood.com — will be the central hub for all activities, providing visibility and long-term connection for our passionate community. We will keep you informed via the website, our social media channels, and of course through Le Courrier Australien, to whom we extend our warmest thanks for their support.

French gastronomy is more than a tradition — it’s a living, evolving art form. And in Australia, it finds new expression every day through your talent and enthusiasm.
